What happens when nothing breaks
A period of stability leads to further investigation.
A logistics error, a learning opportunity, and an unexpectedly positive response.
Earlier this quarter, Stuff Industries Incorporated shipped 10,000 units of Eleventy in a Box without any Eleventy inside them. This was not part of the original product strategy. The issue was traced to a packaging revision intended to streamline distribution. In removing what were described as “non-essential internal elements,” the internal elements themselves were also removed. The boxes, however, remained structurally sound and were delivered on schedule.
Customer responses were mixed, but not entirely negative. Some reported that the absence of preconfigured structure encouraged a more deliberate approach to building. Others requested a version containing the advertised contents.
